The rich heritage of our church, dating back to the late sixties, gives us a solid foundation to reach for the future. The small group of believers that gathered at the inception of our church secured a strong God fearing leader when Bishop Myers became pastor in 1971.

Throughout the decades of the seventies and eighties we continued to grow spiritually and numerically. Building projects in 1973 and 1984 expanded our facilities and gave us greater capacity to serve our community.

The First Pentecostal Church elected David Myers as Pastor in 1998 and promoted Ellis Myers to Bishop. This father-son team proved to be a remarkable tool for continued revival and spiritual growth.

Standing on the shoulders of men and women who gave us a foundation of Biblical teaching and sacrificial giving, Seven acres of land was purchased in 1998. Construction began the following year on the new sanctuary.

In 2000, a sparkling new worship center totally over 28,000 square feet was dedicated to the Lord. This new church complex that we presently worship in won a national award for best design of all religious facilities and paved the way for plans of a new community center.

The combination of God's Blessings, faithful members and Godly leadership has propelled us to a place of end time revival.
